CPT
This is where it all began. I was once told I should coach at the gym I was working out at. I was already a committed member and decided that I wanted to impact people’s lives and fitness journeys. Thus began the road to becoming a certified personal trainer. 3 gym concepts later and I’m still going strong and loving it. It’s been one of the coolest things I’ve gotten to do in life.

Nutrition
How many times have you been given macros, told you needed to eat less, log your food and trust the process? Calories in, calories out? There’s a lot of bad info. out there. Crash diets, fads, and quick fix drugs. The truth is nutrition is a bit of a personal experiment that is bigger than just food. We are all wired differently, and have different environmental exposures and stressors. Your nutrition is impacted by every facet of your being. When tackling nutrition you have to look at the whole picture. You can be doing all the right things and still be running into road blocks because of aspects that are overlooked.

Weightlifting Coach
Does the barbell scare you a little? Maybe it intrigues you. It’s such a cool modality. I have loved learning and coaching the Olympic lifts in more recent years. They are technical and sometimes feel complex, but helping people find ways for it to click has been the coolest experience. I love when I get the follow up to a barbell day with reports of being sore in the places that should be sore. Maybe you are intimidated and worried about getting hurt, but always thought it would be cool to do. Let’s chat and see about overcoming those fears. It’s actually one of the safest sports when trained properly.

Menopause 2.0
This time of life can be super confusing. You wake up one day and suddenly your body won’t cooperate. You have pains in places you never did before, fat in areas that just won’t budge, your hair may be thinning, you may even smell a little funny. You can’t sleep and sweat through what feels like 17,000 pairs of pajamas and sheets a night. All while trying to take care of aging parents, navigate adult or near adult children, and maybe even a grand kid or two. Whew…what a ride this phase of life is. It’s like puberty on steroids but reverse. I love helping women adjust their workouts, nutrition and habits to be able to feel better in their own skin. While we are all created differently and will age differently I want you to feel the best you can during this time.

SSR (Stress, Sleep & Recovery)
Do you know what recovery means? Most think it’s just a day off from the gym, but there’s much more to it than that. Your nurtrition, sleep, rest days, movement patterns, reactions and abilitiy to manage stressors all play into it. What defines a stressor to you? How’s your sleep? Do you have a good sleep routine? Do you ruminate on things all day or while laying in bed. Sleep, stress and recovery is intertwined with your nutrition and your workouts. It’s most effective to look at all together and how they inner connect to make up the beautiful complex human you are!

Run Coach
I thought this would be cool to learn about since I love running. Once upon a time I HATED running. Then many moons later after years of practice I fell in love with it. Coaching running isn’t where my heart is though, so I don’t maintain this one.
